CAN'T RESIST
I smell her fragrance
miles away from the horizon
Inviting scent I can’t resist.
My wounds are finally healing.
My tarry in the dark,
over it’s fast becoming.
Rays of light I see
emerging from the pride of the east
more like the light I used to know.
So beauty still dwells.
Still dwells in the world of uncertainties.
So light awaits me,
even at the end of the tunnel
So the promise Time gave
the promise of healing
empty it’s not after all…..
I’ll patiently wait.
Wait the unveiling of my second half.
I see brighter tomorrow beckoning.
Like tomorrow beckons humanity.
Don’t blame me if I heed
I just can’t resist the call.
