Without you
Ocean without water
Sky without cloud
my life without you.
In the gathering of friends:
"life goes on"-- my veneer
My chest I beat, even till the day goes down--
"I am a man, I can't be broken"
This I say, even till the sun comes up.
Let the birds tell it on mountain tops:
"I am stronger than ever"
Till all are deceived
even you
that I am stronger
without you.............
But in the middle of the night
when no friends can see nor ask
My cheeks dampened with tears
I commune with myself:
"Extra" in "Extraordinary" is gone
Ordinary I have become
A common man
water has dried up
ocean depth has 'come bare
Smoke has covered the clouds
inky now is once beautiful-to-behold
How can life go on?
Sweetie
these thoughts I write on marbles
that I forget not
Don't tell it to my friends
lest they say I am weak
I would deny it before my parents
that I am broken inside
lest they think me feeble.......
If this ever happens
This, you should know:
the key to my world is lost
without you--
The key to my world
