Corpse

Cold and dead

Was just a newly wed

This is what the dancing corpse said

Turned around

Got hit and pound

Never even made a sound

Cold and dead

Just a hanging head

This is what the laughing corpse said

Turned around

Got diced and browned

Never even gave a hand

Cold and dead

What the corpse just said

Waiting for your lives to end

Dark write the type of poems I like the best well done. 10 from me.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
