Cupboards Of My Father

Much like the Horn Of Plenty, for the Faithful, nothing is impossible.
No miracle unattainable, no mercies not granted.
For the Faithful servant a share is always set asid.
No storm ever sinks a vessel set upon the right merridian.
Years are added upon the days of the good neighbor.
Well wishers are rewarded with the overflow of blessings,
cannot you see that?
I have come from nothings to obvious blessings,
cannot you look at me and see that?
From Black Panther breakfasts to S.L.A. doctrine all the while alone, simmering in "I don't give a damns!'
Where you are is Dark.
How I know, I've been there.
Why I speak, I care plus I now have written upon a broken heart, Orders.

This song flows and while doing so the music pauses at many a milestone and I wish the creator of this song is at a place he wants to be and may I add he is a good neighbor.......

This is what it is to be strong.Expect unbalanced tightropes, and no regrets (at least, not many )are harbored with bitterness. Your poem spoke to me. To live through it,get up,brush the dust away, and wait for the next great adventure. God knows we know. Good write. Thanks.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
