Don't Fear The Reaper

Don't Fear The Reaper

Empty am I,

my heart has lied.

Dead am I,

on the inside.

I'm not afraid to feel,

nor do I fear to see;

And that is the fear,

that festers in me.

I'm not afraid of the Dark Man --

for he is my shadow.

All I fear from him,

is his magic sand.

I don't fear the Reaper.

I fear not,

his curved knife.

The only thing that I fear,

is this melancholy life.

Fear is fear,

I can't make it cease.

In loving memory,

R.I.P.
