    dream demolition

    my heart’s crumbling infrastructure

rots like a decrepit old house

    once full

    of love

    hope

    aspiration

    pipe dreams exposed

    blown apart by volatile reality

only the sulfurous stench of your indifference remains

"only the sulfurous stench of your indifference remains" —— a unique poetic line.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
