Dreaming

Dreaming

I already knew right after my first look.
I'd want you to be number one in my book.

Since the moment you entered into my space,
I fall alseep at night with a smile on my face.

I could write a book about how I feel
The fantansy is over-- my dream is real.

Like a dejavu' different time, a different place,
In my visions of your strong and handsome face.

Looks can deceive when looking from the outside,
But the eyes will reveal what cannot hide.

Whatever dreams may come--where ever dreams may go,
I'd rather sleep into eternity than to lose this flow.

People have often told me the eyes are the window to the soul, and mine tend to bother others. What a wonderful ode!. You do well, write on...

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
