    enabling disability

    my mind stabilizes
    scattered pieces
    swept together
    transforming shape
    for a proper fit

    a forbidden balance
    like fog lifting
    ideas form
    thoughts process
    with toxic clarity

    my wounds, personal
    self-inflicted
    potentially harmful
    but self-contained
    mere social suicide

    memories are erased
    unfortunate symptom
    collateral damage
    irreversible side effect
    to this enabling disability

    Very touching poem

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
