    FANTASY WOMAN

What kind of a woman am I....
      You be the judge yourself
    I didn't plan the way I am
Just play the cards I'm dealt!

I am what every woman fears
      What every man desires..
I am the very lust of life
      The spark of passion's fires.

    I listen quite attentively
     But never give advice..
I offer love and empathy -
      But never at a price.

    So....what kind of a woman am I?
It's not so hard to see...
    I live in imagination --
      I'm just a fantasy!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
