    Farewell my friend
    Till we meet again
    For men are like the sea
    And we know not
    Where the wave takes us

    Farewell my friend
    We send you into the world
    To learn and see the truth
    That no one can see
    To get happiness and joy.

    I've read this poem and the last three sentences mean something special to me. Yes, though we are encouraged to go out in to the world to learn and see the truth.....sometimes the truth is so elusive because barriers are placed before us. Glad I got to read this while I was flit flitting on one of the channels on this website.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
