    Finding the light

I'm walking through the shattered dreams of another life

As I walk crystaline tears filled with blood cascade down my face

I feel their pain as my own

    Walking through a broken life

    Seeing the shadows of hate

Smoldering with the pain and anger

    To scare away the light

The light of life and happiness

    It all feels so familiar,

I seem to know these shadows

Who are ceasingly looking for the light

Suddenly they know i'm there, they know me so well

I'm so scared I wonder why

    I'm soon to know

    The answers to my questions

    These shadows are mine.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
