Sensory Overload

These emotions so unpredictable,
Like a whirlwind,So Chaotic.
I can't keep up,Am I losing?
What can I do?
There like lights,Sounds,Taste,Sensations,And Smells,
All Swirling around me but never Staying.
Just Swirling Faster and Faster.
I just want it to stop.
It's to much to fast,
This roller-coaster from within that never ends.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
