    Interpret it on your own.

    Freak of Nature

     The darkness swirls.
    Threatening to swallow me whole.
    Can't run from it.
    I feel the pain.
    I know the confusion.
    I'm a freak.
    A freak of nature.
    Genetic defect.
    I know your emotions.
    I feel your pain.
    Your confusion.
    Your happiness.
    Your sadness.
    I feel it all.
    I'm a freak of nature.
    An empath.
    Only problem is your driving me insane.
    Shut up already.
    I can't think.
    I can't tell your pain from my own.
    I am the freak that you have been warned about.

    One mans freak is awful, another mans freak is fun, sometimes being a freak is a gift. This one i can seroiously relate to. People like this almost inevitably turn to drinking to block it out or become antisocial because they can't block. Very thought provoking expression. Write on and Happy New Year. Tlady

    You are very right. My freakiness is a gift. A gift that at times has drove me to the bottle and I smoke. I am very antisocial I hate crowded rooms. I hate being around people in pain because it is the worst . I can feel pain more than anything. Other peoples pain has been known to put me on my knees. I can block most of the time however it has taken me years to develop that ability. I can only block for a short amount of time tho. I hate it but I also know I have no choice because God didn't ask my opinion for areason. He knew I would say nope aint happening. This little gift is not the only one God gave me . This gift is just the one that bothers me the most. The other gifts He gave me can be quite fun sometimes. I can freak people out really easy. I don't much like knowing that people hate me before they tell me aloud tho. It can be a very lonely life. I just added a new poem called Love .... ME read it and let me know what ya think.

    There are many like you in Alaska, and isolated provinces. Some say distance can be controlled, others what their home is made of metals etc. Will go and read me as soon as possible. Tlady

    Different, special or chosen for a certain purpose, all these could fit, freak sounds so eeehhhhhhhhhhhh, I like the voices, feelings merging- we all have that to a certain degree, nice write, be well- stop by if you find moment for my new write, " Leave Something Behind ", thanks, Happy New Year to you k

    I am very different, special, and I am one of God's Chosen ones to have this gift in such a powerful form. I chose the word freak because at that moment it was how I felt about myself. I know I am not a freak in some ways but know peoples emotions in the form that I do freaks me out and it over loads me. It drives me crazy sometimes. I will read some of your stuff too as soon as get a chance to breathe. I get on here and load a poem when I get a spare moment which they are very few lately. thank you very much for your kind words.

    You know another word for freak is one of a kind person I too am a freak of the night I write light and dark poetry mostly dark enjoyed your writings hope to see more awsome!!!!!!!
