    Ghosts' Playground

    swings are swaying
    who is this playing
play horses rocking to and fro
I see no one, where did they go

    the merry-go round
    spinning ever so slowly
    no one is around
    it looks so lonely

    I hear no laughter
    just lonely moans
    where children used to gather
    from all kinds of homes

so I guess I'll just sit here
    and watch the ghosts play
    listening to hear
    the echos of yesterday

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
