Light fades hard
darkness falls
All hope is lost
for my broken heart
Swallowed up by pain
pain I can hardly bear
Where is my shining light
to guide me outta here
Fate has torn a hole in my heart
too large for me to repair
Why did you have to twist the knife
when did you cease to care
You said you'd never leave
"take my hand and trust", you said
Now you are so far away
and all I feel inside is dead
I thought our love was so solid
we seemed to have everything
Then one day you were gone
and now I am left.... incomplete
