    Poem Commentary

    This poem I wrote after seeing the documentary on the shooting at Colimbine High School. May the souls rest in peace. Also after having someone tell me about the threats that they had for my own high school.

    High School

     Everything happens so fast
    You don't have time to think
    Don't know what to do
    But this only happens in High School.

    Girls get hurt by jerks.
    Who think love is all fun and games.
    Who don't take anything serious.
    Only at High School.

    Threats are mad to kill hundreds
    Nobody knows what to do
    So nobody makes a move
    Could this only happen in High School?

    One stands up for what they believe in
    While others stand down
    So many believe in God
    And others turn the other way
    Why in only High School?
