Hip Hop
And so she wrote to me,
The sweetest and simplest piece of poetry/
Of hope truth and honesty the way it was supposed to be/
A raw feel she reflected through her melody scheme/
Was something I figured I would only find in a dream/
It spoke to me without speaking to me direct/
Open my mind up to thinking in a new mind set/
Her words flowed thick
With black ink off the page I read/
Each paper sheet cut me deep
Internally I bled/
Inspired to pursue my dreams before her words ever finished/
Proved even the lower class could paint the world in their image/
A sudden rush that I never knew,
Dreams stream in clear view/
The sky was once my limit
Now I feel like I can break through/
The power I now possess is released through a pen/
A fire bomb from my palm like hadoken/
If not for she I don't know where I would be in this life/
So I ride by her side with these words I write/
