HOW TO SAY GOOD-BYE
YOU WERE MY EVERYTHING,
WE WERE ALWAYS TOGETHER.
I THOUGHT NO ONE CAN SEPERATE US.
UNTIL THAT ONE DARK DAY,
YOU WERE ON YOUR WAY TO WORK.
YOU KISSED MY GOOD-BYE,
AND SAID "SEE YOU AT DINER".
I WATCHED YOU GET IN THE CAR,
I WAVED BYE TO YOU AS YOU PULLED AWAY.
I SHUT THE DOOR,
AND A FEW MINUTES LATER I GET A CALL,
I THOUGHT I'LL NEVER GET.
IT WAS A MAN ON THE PHONE.
TELLING ME THAT YOU WERE IN A CAR CRASH,
AND YOU DID NOT MAKE IT.
I THEN DROPED TO MY KNEES,
AND CRIED OUT LOUD,
AND I GASPED FOR AIR.
THE TEARS WERE RUNNING DOWN MY FACE.
I DON'T WANT TO BELEIVE,
THAT MY ONE TRUE LOVE WAS GONE.
WE WERE ALWAYS TOGETHER.
I THOUGHT NO ONE CAN SEPERATE US.
UNTIL THAT ONE DARK DAY,
YOU WERE ON YOUR WAY TO WORK.
YOU KISSED MY GOOD-BYE,
AND SAID "SEE YOU AT DINER".
I WATCHED YOU GET IN THE CAR,
I WAVED BYE TO YOU AS YOU PULLED AWAY.
I SHUT THE DOOR,
AND A FEW MINUTES LATER I GET A CALL,
I THOUGHT I'LL NEVER GET.
IT WAS A MAN ON THE PHONE.
TELLING ME THAT YOU WERE IN A CAR CRASH,
AND YOU DID NOT MAKE IT.
I THEN DROPED TO MY KNEES,
AND CRIED OUT LOUD,
AND I GASPED FOR AIR.
THE TEARS WERE RUNNING DOWN MY FACE.
I DON'T WANT TO BELEIVE,
THAT MY ONE TRUE LOVE WAS GONE.
