With Eyes Closed
That elusive dream called love. The reason I say it's a dream is because I close my eyes and there it is. It seems to be the essence of life, yet it never comes. I'm just a dreamer I can hold it in my arms, I can feel it in my heart, but it will never come to be. I've seen the world over, tested all the waters, swam all the seas, but love never comes close to me. Then I could be mistaken, you see, there she is as beautiful as a dream she makes my mornings, she soothes my nights, she makes me feel alive. Her kisses are as the sweetest of honey. Her touch is as the softest of silk, if this is a dream this is where I want to be. She cares about my every thought, she's a part of my existence when I'm down she lifts me up. When I'm worried she quiets my mind. When I'm angry she calms me down and her smile is like none other. God gave me a gift when he gave me love with my eyes closed.
