    I Still Love You

    You walk around,
    with your head in
    the clouds; you
    say you're doing
    just fine.

    But how long can
    you keep up this
    act?

    I see the
    hurt in your eyes.

    I know what
    I did was wrong,
    and I don't
    expect you to
    take me back.

    Even though
    our love is gone,
    I just want to let
    you know, I still
    love you.

I appreciate when a person can be honest about the hurt they caused and their regrets. Good job.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
