Too Much Hurt
It's been two years,
And my heart still aches
Because of all the
Stuff you did to me.
I gave you my heart,
And you threw it
Back in my face.
You weren't even
Mine, and yet, you
Still broke my heart.
I'm walking down
The trail of tears
By myself, and I
Wonder why I
Can't surrender
To the darkness.
There's just too
Much hurt to
Endure for someone
Who doesn't even
Care.
In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
