    I wonder

I wonder when it will be enough. When others will stop hurting each other, when the tears will stop being shed with hate. I wonder when it will be that I could open my eyes and walk out the door into my neighborhood, and not have to hear the screaming of yet another fight, the crying of another child in pain. When i wont have to witness another taxi being loaded with suitcases, another child holding on to daddy's leg begging him not to leave, promising that she will be good.

I wonder when others will notice that are cemetery's are over flowing with lost young souls and life's to crime. When someone will have the guts to step in and say that theirs been enough blood spilt and life's lost to hatred. To say it's time to stop hating and time to start repairing. To look at one-another and realize we are all one in our own way.

All I have to say is I wonder.

a sad but true comment on todays life - hard hitting

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
