    If

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Then when I close my eyes I see you
I do not fear your love, for if my words had wings
    They would fly forever

If to kiss you meant to die
I would die a thousand deaths
    Forever shrouded in darkness
    But engulfed by love

    I would forever suffocate alone
If I had to breath without you
For the air in my lungs
Is meant to whisper your name

    And if pain is love
Then let me be a soldier
    Fighting in loves army
For the rest of my days
