    Loves Journey

I have journeyed through the sands and swam through the rivers, searching for that which has no face. Lost within wilderness, consumed by my shivers, without whats within but held by its embrace. It calls to me like a wild beast tearing at the essence of my very being. I give into the creatures advances and embrace the pain. No longer fearing death, I die within its arms. I have journeyed through the sands and swam through the rivers, searching for that which has no face. My heart, it has consumed me giving birth to a new mind, a new body, a new man.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
