    In My Eyes(written 5-12-05)
    In my eyes
    I see a love hesitantly fading
    as one who seeks to find his gold at the end of the rainbow-
    in vain, I am awaiting

    hoping to find
    what many desire
    with thoughts of losing my mind
    before I aquire

    In my eyes
    I see tears
    like a river ever-flowing
    longing for the sun to share its warmth
    to allow my true beauty to begin showing.
