INSIGNIFICANT
You entered the party as I knew you would,Watching you from across the room, Drink in hand,
Hoping for some recognition from your divine vision,
You never do, Too busy with your own show,
Over hearing two guys, They'll wait till she leaves,
Follow her out and see who has fun in the dark,
Taking turns till there's nothing left, She's so hot,
Looking the way she does, Shes just asking for it,
I was there when you were in danger,
Too scared to see, I stepped in saving you again,
Bruised and bloody, They were in worse shape,
The doorman called the cops, Time to pick up the trash,
You went back to the party, You needed a drink,
Looking around, Searching for your hero,
There were so many choices, You brushed past me,
Saying excuse me without looking,
Blood on your hand you realized too late,
Your hero was here, Before you could turn around,
I was gone, Without a clue as to my identity,
Looking at you, Looking through me,
As if I'm not there, While standing right here,
Sometimes it seems, Some one average, Like me,
Could do so much, And not be seen....
