    Inspiration from William Carlos Williams’

    My last goodbye

    I’ve loved you always

Yet you’ve gone and left me

    You never said goodbye

    I looked at your marriage

    It proved love was real

    Now though, I don’t see

    That love is real

    I blame my goodbye

    On the one you adore

    So I’ll give you

    My last goodbye

    Before you leave.

    I won’t let you go

    Without my last goodbye

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
