I am the girl of no one’s dreams

I hide form everyone

I’m scared of many things

I cry and have my heart broke.

I wear the mask of joy and hope

Why should anyone care?

That I’m always there and yet

Wear the mask of cheer

But deep down

I want to scream.

I hold it in and please you,

Help you with your struggles

And scream from within.

I take your problems

And cover mine

I wear the mask of always fine

I try my best to give you

What you want.

Answers and help

But always holding in

My true feelings.

Hiding behind the mask

Of secrets and lies,
