Intertwined

Together;an unbreakable,unimaginable separation.
Spun into an interlocking web
Of deceit,love,passion,and remembrance.
Holding on passionately as I kiss those lips.
Soft, no one can resist...
those lips.
Holding on to a hope of being
together forever.
Holding your hand in mine as we step in sequence;
trying to stop time.
Tightly holding on to you one last time.
Our interlocking eyes stray away
from truth; how it can be so cruel.
Not me. Not you.
Time denies us eternity.
For now there's just love, passion, and remembrance
Of when we were.

You took me places. I love to be unexpectedly exported against my will during a poem and you did just that! Great poem!

Oh wow....thanks! I didn't know that poem was available for comments just yet. I am still in the editing process.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
