INTICEMENT

INTICEMENT

The doorway to insanity lies open, waiting, wide for me.

Even when it’s locked up tight, I always have a key.

Should I stay out or go through it again?

Someone has ripped from me my lover, with a grin.

He’s relocked my cage and cut it in half;

Took away all my toys now stands here to laugh.

Through that wide open door, I know just what I’ll find.

Familiar comfort, that’s empty.  Leave reality behind.

If I float through it once more, will I find my way back?

Maybe find another door, walk down a different track?

Will the road be as haunted as the many times before?

The current strong, warm, comfortable flows through that open door.

Love the whole concept of never knowing which choice is right, or weather I even want to make one for it being wrong again. Some great word combinations here k

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
