Introspection "Better Life"
Deliver Calm to this restless mind-a mind so clattered and filled with clutter...On all the things that matter least
The restless mind...this mind does feast.
Redemption for the things not done
but will perhaps do them next dawn...
The rightful choice to choose the wrong
and sit with tears while writing song.
Deliver wretched urchin child-
from horrid harsh-so many fall...
To know a blessing from a card of chance or from crystal ball...
With floating head from slight of hand-the tricks that feed the child with wonder...
Only to bring nightmares down like rain
They piss the bed when thunder...
Clangs and batters-Oh Silent Night-and breaks the panes with branches broken...
Trees do mourn the loss...their limbs...one almost hears their lost thoughts spoken.
Deliver me if thinks to do so...Oh Someone, Something, greater than I...
Oh pitiful one am I yes he
Lone mortal needs the lift from Three.
Could One as great so great in plural
be as One for all in thought?
A purpose bent on sojourns flaws
Where rules do break like brittle pot...
Caressed by hands from careful Maker
Are we all for the undertaker?
Only to some morning rise
If while we're clay...We...obey the wise?
I sadden...little-and feel the better
After thoughts penned down in letter...
For symbols say the only way
To live out all your mortal days...
And so I live and put down pen
Until again my mind does fail...
To put to sense why I must learn
To see the best while I'm derailed.
And so I live as bright-eyed child
Emotional as stormy sea...
And fight for faith...and search the stars
And follow council from them...the free.
