    • The wraith is but sadness in mortal form. It haunts to hunt, and hunts to feed. It cannot feed on any emotion. This is its pain. for emotion is not segregated it is fealt, and to feel is warmth.

    Poem Commentary

    A song I wrote

    I hopped into a moment-this is what I saw

And I hop into a moment
Believe me when I say that it delivers on emotion

Feel the Golden Rays hitten my face it sets me coasten...
    down a dream stare...

And I swim inside a mind melt...
Like a child I'm feeling starstruck and bright eyed...I haven't felt...
For the longest time...and as I rewind...I feel it unwind...me.

    And you simply stare...into oblivion...
And the confusion of why your there
And the fusion between the pair...
is an illusion...after the wear and tear...

    And you glimpse the crash
    Your perfect world in flames
    and you sift the ash
    for the ones you blamed...

And I'm back and feeling closed in...
The chorus had me swimming in oblivion...
Lead astray-the easy way-toward the gray...
    To simply fade away...

But I choose to wander Starlight
Sunsets bring the tears in stream-flows from wide eyes...
    The stars move in...
    I give them room...
    I am consumed...
    I am not doomed.....No Way.

Liked the rhyming pattern and the use of language, the juxtaposition of the two characters drew the love of life into stark focus. Thank you for sharing Desmotti, a very enjoyable read :). Narrator.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
