    Invisible Line

    An almost invisible line
    Divides lust and pure intention
    And no warning sign
When you stray far into a section

Tiptoe on the line and you have love
Run with feet in each and you have romance
Think with pure intentions from above
And it’s no fun to dance

    Lovely lust, or vice versa
    Keeps a relationship lively
Until the money’s gone and your lips can’t purse up
For some, it’s when, pure intention shines brightly

    We just met
Sitting on a dock with our feet in the water
    Is it best?
For us to leave this place and together shower?

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
