The Treasure

The Treasure

The treasure doesn’t come in shapes and sizes
It comes in hugs and hi’s
It’s smaller than can be seen
But it can’t be stolen by any thief

Keep it locked always in your heart to be safe
And search for it to be great
Too much though will harden you
Then you have to ask the Lord to pardon you

The great search for love never ends
Magnificent powers and constructs it can bend
Forcefully and mighty is Love

When I think of poems I tend to think of a story about a journey and the trip to get there. You get from here to there quite well.

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
