    I.

    The sun will

    Either warm me

    Or burn me

    Depending on the heat.

    The rain will always

    Be there for me

    Washing away the dreams.

    II.

    The girl in the restaurant

    With the purple shirt

    A thin fabric over

    Smooth skin.

    Silk threads

    Of gold and copper

    The shades of sun

    In her hair.

    She smiles perhaps

    Thinking about her boy

There must be a lucky guy

    Who stands by her side.

    III.

I can still smell her perfume

    Even after she’s gone away

    To her own playground

    In her cloud above me.

    IV.

    Imagine how she inspires

    Every one of my senses

    Her potpourri scent

Is like from no other girl.

    If my eyes met hers

And I reached to hold her hand

If we breathed the same air

And tasted it in our kiss…

    V.

    When will the rain

    Come to wash away

    My dreams of

    Angels in clouds?
