just a minute in a lifetime

Dear Father, the love of my hated life
abuser of my soul, beater of your wife, my mother.

I have found myself waiting up for you at night.
mostly from the fear that you'll creep in again and the touch place
i've never dreamed should be felt by you

afraid of the dark sleeping night
the ghostly features of your handsome face
i never thought i'd ever hate you the way I do

Found that I despise who I am, this product of your obsession
    sexual deviant perfection.
I try to not be like you
Trying so hard that I fall into this trap that you laid for me

I'll sleep restlessly, running from you in my dreams
waking in a fit of sweat and hated orgasm
I LOVE what you did to me. cant you see?

For most of my life I knew you as my demon
    trying to understand you
living within the minutes of my forever life time

    Father, I hate you.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
