    Nightmare of sorts

    It was a nightmare of sorts
    I'd reach for him and he'd drift away from me
    like a feather in the breeze
    i'd lose him like i would often lose sleep
    searching for the familiar warmth of his skin in my dreams
    the soft safety of body heat
