Keepin On

Keepin On

Emotional chaos in constant demand
Meaningful notions but too few hands
We are stuck in the struggle of truth fate and shame
I can only look forward to a break in the rain

If only as simple as Peace Love and Light
I dream of the lack of all hate, greed, and strife
It pulls us in pulses too thick for despair
but give up and walk out I do not dare

For the same pain that blisters my heart
Will someday free me from a life filled with dark
Where no man has heartache for absence of love
To that peace in the sky and the home up above

im really impressed with your writing. you are quite gifted. very well written.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
