La Primavera

La Primavera

from the chrysalis she emerges
the world around suddenly warmed in golden lining
the birds, bees, and trees rhyming
in time with the wind
aligned with innocent
blossoms
so long since we had the sweet taste
of her nectar
into the delicate season
enters Sunshine
the muse
to shine her sweetened face
upon the chilled hearts of the Earth.
