    Lead Me...

Silence like the most potent drug, lead me.
Lay me down in grasses tall, leave my body not unattended.
Red canyon walls and painted sky silence in this your sweetness.

Fill my head with thoughts, of tracing fingers, sunlight and our shadows play, lead I will follow on this day.
Drape now my flowing hair over shoulders broad, so succulent the touch which steals my every breath.

My lips dine upon words unspoken, your lead is leave to
places we've known, as always, we will give way.
Scent and sense, rest here at my breast, submission a key but never the test.

Rise, fall whilst sagebrush dance a pain so sweet , gentle small deaths.
I cannot recall where you began, or even where I shall end, to lead is to follow, your desire,so some may say...

An Apache Princess, will have her way.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
