Like I'll Never See You

Like I'll Never See You

So distance and space between us

I'm starting to feel that it's our barrier

A strong gust of wind or even a plane

I wish it would carry her . . .

To me, so that she resides in my presence

I would love to smell her essence

But, i can't because i'm lacking her presence

I wouldn't mind a couple of tardies,

But all i'm experiencing is absence . . . physically, mentally, & absent as in present

So i sit here and daydream of such a beautiful bliss

The warmth of her lips the passion when we kiss . . .

Like I'll Never See You

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
