    Loss

    Loss
    In the dark of night
I hold loss in my heart.

    I hear the angels call
    and the tears start.

In the dark of night I beg to hold
and only get the empty cold.

    Loss surrounds and I drown.
    Loss breaths and I die.
    I count the minutes
to eternity and fear never knowing.

I age in time without a sign showing.
Loss wraps me and I am consumed.

    No escape, only bitter doom.

I fear its silences and seek its voice.
    I live without any choice.

    Loss creeps in silently
    and steals my breath away.

The tone of the poem if full with wanted to be filled, but empty with loss. It is very sad and lonely. I think your words flowed very well, and it was very vivid poem.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
