    Lost Spear

Piercing my heart so tight I cannot breathe--
Any movement and I will never move again--
My sins are a multitude and can never be washed away--
Why do you call my name to just leave me in twisting, panting agony???

Cannot go on,but cannot welcome death--
Life is too painful to even try, till the overwhelming swarm of your Locusts overtake me...

Piercing my heart so tight I cannot breathe--
Life does not contain pain and irony--
Life is exactly what we dare not say it is--
You epitomize all that is enigmatic is and most fierce of a beast...

Piercing my heart so tight I cannot breathe.

Very good JCB, but the descriptor is lost to a reader lost in the travesty that is definition...

    Very good !!!!!!!!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
