    Love's Lost

I sat there looking at the sky
While the wind caresses my face
My attention got caught by a butterfly
My only solace away from your embrace

    The rain starts to fal
    It washed my tears away
    I hid behind the wall
Guarding the place where you lay

Picking up all that's left behind
    All alone, fighting this weakness
Something that my soul has to find
    Searching beyond this bleakness

Don't know when this will end
When life like this puts me to test
Need someone's hand for me to lend
So that my weary soul can rest
