    Lustful Homicide

These inferior walls around my heart.

    Led to my demise

And caused it to fall apart.

    Your lies,

    Were used to….infiltrate these walls.

You lead me to….the greatest of all falls.

    Blood-soaked hands are shaking cold.

This ground beneath me begins to fold.

    Screaming on the inside.

    But quite on the out.

    My heart's turned to stone.

    And left me hallowed out.

    The bleeding's stopped.

    These veins have run dry.

    One last tear.

    Shall fall from my eye.

A tear for everything that mattered.

Before you left me out of breath and shattered.

    Every knife has its blade.

    Every rose has its thorn.

    One heart is deceased.

    And another is born.

    Reminance of me.

Left in pieces strewn across the floor.

You got the best of me.

My blood serves as your décor.

    You have decorated halls.

With broken hearts and lifeless souls

    You've caused so many falls.

Your love's ripped open so many holes.

You have all these murderous systems.

Holes in hearts that can't be mended

    These lies have countless victims.

Your why so many lives have ended.

You've taken your weapon to my veins.

Cupid's grasp is killing me off.

    Suffocating in my pains.

    I can't even scream.

    After all that's been spoken.

Where do I go from here.

    Now that I'm heartbroken.

    And consumed by fear.

    I trusted your eyes….

    But your lies….

    Shot right through your teeth.

    You've buried my heart.

    Six feet underneath.

    They look on the surface.

But I'm rotting in the ground.

    Still questioning your purpose.

My lost soul can never be found.

    You killed me quietly.

    It looks just like suicide.

But it was done so violently.

    This is lustful homicide.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
