Maria's Song

For love of the weary mind,
How to let go of what's no longer there,
Clinging, unchanging, holding on,
We open our hearts, to hearts that are blind,
Soul's oppression, our fear,
We share,
She binds us together and rips us apart,
To Mother Earth we surrender
Between our Joy and our tears,
Amidst our youth and our years,
Somewhere in the middle,
A new start,
