    MEDIA in the mist of our tragedy

    The media exacerbates the sentence of sadness in the aftermath of tragedy

    A perverse prolonging of this natural phase of my neurotic pathology

    as I'm breastfed this shameless, negative intelligence from a talking head

    as they spew cataclysmic details of the dying or dead

    it bombards the very foundation of my unhinged psychology

    I understand the iniquitous and their morbid curiosity

    As reporters run to capitalize and exploit genuine atrocity

    and spotlight others grief and pain with such ferocity
