More Than Half-Fair
What you need to hear:
(Don’t say a word)
Everyone is me
Not the philosophical collective consciousness
A critic
Projects self on art
so be careful what you reject
And be careful what you respect
Everyone is a critic
As if their opinions are something significant from within them
To be given as gifts/ Presented as/ Art is often the reaching out for acceptance
So show me
the ways not go
The things not to know
Not to hold sacred
Not to grow
Not to feed
Not to sow
Not to breath
Not to read
Not to write
I only have one life to lead as this time passes me by
So please
Open my eyes
Show me the light
Don’t hold back
Go past the line
to more than half-right
Please
Don’t hold back
Don’t hide
You’ll only make time to hone your knives
Alone but safer
Cause your anxiously waiting for the enemy,
prepared To open wide his insides
Got the right
So show me
What your eyes see
And I’ll try to judge you justly
(Don’t say a word)
Everyone is me
Not the philosophical collective consciousness
A critic
Projects self on art
so be careful what you reject
And be careful what you respect
Everyone is a critic
As if their opinions are something significant from within them

I only have one life to lead as this time passes me by
So please
Open my eyes
Show me the light
Don’t hold back
Go past the line
to more than half-right
Please
Don’t hold back
Don’t hide
You’ll only make time to hone your knives
