Here I sit,
reading poems.
All alone,
in my home.
Wife and kids,
are all away.
So now I'm online,
here to stay.
I like the poems,
that are here.
Some make me laugh,
some shed a tear.
And the comments,
that are made.
Can help us poets,
in this trade.
Now I'm not here,
to brag or boost.
I'm only here,
to read and post.
And I want you,
all to hear.
I'm glad I met you,
all right here.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
