    My first kiss

     When you smile I know your happy.
    my first kiss
    When I laugh you know you
    said something funny.
    my first kiss
    When he crys i know theres
    something wrong but he just
    keeps it inside and wont tell me.
    my first kiss
    When he touches my face it
    makes me feel good to know he loves me.
    my first kiss
    When i go to kiss him he holds
    me tight and says,
    "I love you forever and ever babe."
    for that was my first kiss.

    This poem is filled the emotion of an innocent love that is blossoming. Ah I remember it well,twas some 30 years ago but I remember it as if it just happened. I was so clumsy and a little afraid. you know what if I didn't do it right. The poem itself is I am sorry to say rather poorly constructed. could have used some stanza breaks and some punctuation. My advice would be to study some love poetry ie sonnets of the Porteugese and some Shakespear. I feel that if you keep writing you will increase your word power immensely and become fruitful in your poetic journey, therefore keep writing

    Ohh.. Thanks for the advice .. I will look into them. I have more poems just havent got them on yet... but soon there will be more.
